An inter-district heroin smuggler syndicate has been busted in Vaishali district. The team of Narcotics Department Patna conducted a raid and recovered a huge amount of heroin and narcotic substance Arfrajoran from Paswan Chowk. On the information given by the arrested smuggler, two smugglers have been arrested from East Champaran and West Champaran. The team officials refused to give detailed information to the local media and after getting the arrested smuggler medically examined at Sadar Hospital, they took him with them to Patna.
According to the information, on Wednesday morning, the Narcotics Department Patna received a secret information that a drug smuggler of heroin was going to come to Hajipur’s Paswan Chowk to deliver a large quantity of drugs. On receiving the information, a team formed under the leadership of the department’s Patna unit director Abhishek Anand reached Hajipur’s Paswan Chowk. It was told that during the investigation, the department officials took two suspicious youths into custody while exchanging bags. The officials recovered 1.240 kg of heroin and 2 kg of arfrazoran from the two youths.
The arrested smuggler was identified as Angrez Kumar, son of Raju Rai, resident of Digdhi Kala of Sadar police station area. He is said to be a retailer. The second smuggler is said to be Gopal Pandit, son of Ramraj Pandit, resident of Ramgarhwa village of Triveni police station area of East Champaran district, who had come to deliver the goods. The NCB team officials conducted a raid on the basis of necessary interrogation of both and arrested the drug smuggler Rampravesh Yadav, son of Bhola Yadav, resident of Gudra village of Majhaulia police station area of West Champaran district. Officials said that Rampravesh Yadav is the smuggler who supplies heroin and other drugs. After getting everyone medically examined at Sadar Hospital, the team officials took them with them to Patna.
